Welcome to Upton Meadows Primary School

At Upton Meadows Primary School we believe that every child must be provided with opportunities to develop socially, emotionally, academically and physically to achieve the highest possible standards. We are an inclusive learning community that is forward thinking and committed to ensuring that all children in our care are happy, enthusiastic and purposeful learners.

We are located on the outskirts of Northampton and serve the community of Upton and Banbury Lane.  Our school has amazing buildings and grounds which facilitates excellent educational provision.

The school caters for children aged from 4+ to 11 years. It is a rapidly growing school and has the capacity to grow to 420 pupils. The school has just started its tenth academic year and had an Ofsted inspection in Oct 2014, click here  to link to Ofsted site.  We were delighted to be graded as 'Good' across all areas.

The school has been awarded the Tamhs (Targeted Mental Health in School) Gold accreditation mark.  We have the Enhanced Health School status, part of which is gaining accreditation on Anti-Bullying. We have achieved a Geography Quality Mark and are now working towards the Artsmark. The school has been recognised as being an Eco School and has the Green Flag.   The School Council has attained Silver level and we are recognised as a Unicef Right Respecting School.

We are committed to delivering creativity and outdoor learning.

We are delighted to be part of a research project this year using Philosophy for children across the school to develop children's reasoning skills.

We are proud of our achievements and welcome the opportunity to show people our amazing school. If you would like to visit us please phone, email or call in to make an appointment.

Best wishes,

Ms Clare Searing
