Remembrance Day 2014

At 11am on November 11th 2014 children and staff of Upton Meadows Primary School gathered to pay tribute to the men and women who have fought for our country and those who have lost their lives in doing so. A two minute silence was held and Mrs Palmer played 'The last post' to signal the start of our reflection. Children made poppies and these are now displayed at the front of the school. A handmade poppy wreath was also laid as a mark of respect.

'At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.'
